  1. button for stopping animated images

Images are nicely placed in wikiwand.com but reading an article having an series of images that is changing with the time (a gif for example) it's hard to concentrate on the text. (have a look at: http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Wave_packet). What do you think of the idea to insert the possibily to stop the motion by a click on a special button within the image. Blocking the motion by default is not a good idea because sometimes it's enough to see the motion to understand the principles without reading the article

  2. Table with fixed header on scroll

We all know there is one sort of really great wikipage, the comparison series,
    like http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Comparison_of_video_codecs

It is really great to have these great compilations of information, but, unfortunately,
most tables are just too long to browse. It would be really easy to get lost while scrolling
    down the table.

I am wondering if Wikiwand is thinking about improving that?
Something like this: Table with fixed header on scroll

  3. Create iOS Safari Bookmarklet

Now that the WikiWand site has been optimized for iOS, we need a convenient way to convert Wikipedia pages we find in Google search results to WikiWand. Something I've seen other sites do (such as Readability) is make a JavaScript bookmarklet for the browser that sends the current URL to a new site format conversion. Example: http://bit.ly/1xliX2Ea

  5. Persistent Search Bar

The top bar which also include search should remain as we go through the article... so that we could search and go to another page while in the mid of previous page... and we don't have to come to the top to search for something...

  6. bug in the display of go board http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Go_%28game%29 and http://www.wikiwand.com/fr/Jeu_de_go

They use template such as Template:Goboard5x5 (english version) or Modèle:Goban (french version) which intend to display images side by sides and the result in your Wikiwand is images separated by gap

  7. Add a button or a menu to access the header image

In the current layout the header image is partially covered by the article itself and there is no way to view the image in one peace without the covering except opening the original wikipedia page. Could you please add a button or a menu to access the image?

  9. Touch screen support

I tried using WikiWand on a Microsoft Surface 3 Pro but the index on the left and the photo picker at the bottom of a photo gallery don't work with touch. Please take a look at this.

  11. zoom images on hover (or add an option to enable/disable it).

it's a bite annoying to have to open the whole gallery each time to view or zoom one picture .
Wikipedia pictures consists mostly of illustrations which are dense and containing text , so zooming images is a frequent need thus should be simplified . thanks

  12. provide YouTube on-topic videos .

alongside entertainment, YouTube became also a rich source of education and science .
with the huge and divers amount of tutorials and explanation videos , it will so useful and enriching to include YouTube specific video suggestions to articles , and i think adding the possibility to up vote or down vote or suggest videos would improve the relevance over time.

  15. Render math with MathJax

like the Chrome extension "Wikipedia with MathJax". It replaces the images with the LaTeX and lets the MathJax script render it. Way better typography with correct baselines and scaling so that it prints well too.

  17. Allow dragging the thumbnail bar in the gallery view

It took me a while to figure out that the scroll wheel could be used. Click-dragging (and some smoothtly eased auto-scrolling if the mouse cursor approaches the edges) would be nice.

  18. Improve the display/styling of certain elements

The blockquotes need more margins, and the list of singles (for music album-related pages) need a bigger line height.

  19. Allow the wikiwand interface to load locally if the extension is installed

If the wikiwand interfacial elements were to be available locally, then the only thing you would have to fetch from the internet would be the wikipedia content. This would improve loading times as well as reduce traffic to your website every time an article is loaded. This can be bundled along with the extension, which would do more than redirection now.

I got the idea from the Mega (ala the Kim Dotcom service) extension and any typical android app, both of which generally have the interface available locally and only load content from out there.

  20. Add a built in player for audio files (.mid, .ogg)

It's really annoying having to download these files just to play them. Also .ogg is not supported without additional downloads of codecs etc, so it's difficult for the average user to even listen to these files.

If you guys could fix that, it'd be a big reason for me to use your app over the original site. Thanks!
