  1. Tables don't always render properly

    E.g., https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Military_service_by_British_royalty
    Compare to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_service_by_British_royalty?oldformat=true

    The first table is incredibly difficult to read, particularly because the header row is unreadable due to the white text. The blue background is ignored on Wikiwand, but the white text is not, so it's white on white.

    Beyond that, it's harder to follow because it's somewhat squished, and there are no table borders to help demarcate the columns properly.

  9. Article width on v2 is too wide

    I upgraded to the "v2" version of the UI and the article width seems to work different now. In the settings, I set the "Article Width" setting to the lowest setting, and it is still too wide.

    Looking at the code, I think the issue here is that "width" uses a % value. ie the lowest value is 68.5% - 40px. This should be fixed value, not a % value. I'm on a 2560 × 1440 screen, so bigger than average, but I can't image the article is readable on extra wide screens.

  11. Add option to disable "This article was just edited. Click to reload" warning.

    While the intent of the warning is good (in case someone is revisiting a Wikiwand tab they opened long ago) it's unhelpful when it happens on an article I just opened and am reading.

    Never has an edit happened while I was reading an article that contained any important new content that was worth making me view an unclosable warning and do a page refresh. The edits in question have always been minor things like someone adding a missing apostrophe or comma, or fixing a typo.

    To improve Wikiwand, the warning could either:

  14. Allow pinning the top bar

    When scrolling down the top bar disappears and them if you try to highlight something in the top line that is showing the top bar pops up.
    I think it's a good idea to allow the user to pin it so it won't disappear and/or to "disable" the top bar, so it can only be accessed through a button.

  16. Show the article's name in other languages without hovering over them.

    Whenever one opens the language select option in the upper right, the article's name in other languages is displayed only when the user hovers over them with the cursor. Please, show other language article names all the time.

  17. Syntax Highlighting on Code Examples

    Everything on Wikiwand is really pretty and sleek, but code examples on programming articles stick out like a sore thumb. Perhaps syntax highlighting could be added? There are many libraries for websites for this exact purpose like https://prismjs.com/ and others.

  19. Remove menu options when there is only 1 language available.

    When there is only 1 language available,

    1. When you mouse over the language circle icon, don't display 'Other Languages' because the language you are currently viewing the article in is already in the only language. What is happening is that I mouse over and see 'Other Languages' thinking there would be another language other than what I am already seeing. But there is not.

    2. When you click the language circle icon, there is a field in the drop down that says '1 languages available'. This is ambiguous and misleading. The 1 language is the only languages so please take this…
