Hieroglyphs doesn't appear
Hieroglyphs in articles appear as their codes in Wikiwand (e.g. in https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Pharaoh), while they appear good on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharaoh).

Add a Wikiwand hovercard for Wikipedia links
When a website links to Wikipedia, it'd be very helpful to have a hovercard appear showing the summary paragraph of the article!

Share an article with shortened URL
Have a share button where a link (a shortened URL) would be generated. (Also social sharing would be good to have within the same feature.)

Touch screen support
I tried using WikiWand on a Microsoft Surface 3 Pro but the index on the left and the photo picker at the bottom of a photo gallery don't work with touch. Please take a look at this.

Add "Random Article" based on user selection of categories
As an example, a middle schooler is very into algorithms and wants to explore sorting for the next month. He can add to his list of favorite categories "Sorting Algorithms". Random article can use this information to narrow down articles specific to his current interests.
Thanks Wikiwand!

Make the hover over popup behavior configurable
The hover over popups get in the way, and obscure parts of the article. Please make this behavior configurable. You can leave the default as is, but please provide additional options to either disable it -or- have it be active only when holding down some meta key.

Link to "Cite this page" under share options
There should be a link to "Cite this page" for easy citation of articles. I think under share options is a suitable place for it.

Option to disable hover previews on links
They get in the way of the article. I understand where people might like this feature but I see there are some that share the same problem as me. At least give us an option to disable the feature.

Don't omit the "Not to be confused with ..." text at the top of articles
If a WIkipedia article has the line "Not to be confused with ..." at the top, WikiWand omits it. But that line is actually really useful, so it should be included.

On missing article pages, make the Wikipedia ‘Read’ and ‘Edit’ links work
When an article is missing on Wikipedia, Wikiwand makes it really hard to add it, blocking Wikipedia's built-in links for this.
If I don't find an article, often it is on Wikipedia but under a different name, so I want to add a redirect page for it, to help anybody else in future searching under that name.
On the original Wikipedia, the ‘no article with this name’ page has a link for creating an article with that name.
Wikiwand's equivalent page doesn't have such a link — which is fine; the ‘maybe you were looking for’ list is fantastic, and is what often makes me realize the article I wand is there, under a different name.
But I still want to create it on Wikipedia. So I try the Wikipedia menu and choose ‘Read on Wikipedia’, but that menu item isn't linked to anything: for articles it goes to the equivalent Wikipedia page, but for non-articles it doesn't do anything.
Same for the ‘Edit’ link: for non-articles, it doesn't do anything, rather than going to the Wikipedia page for editing (in this case, creating) the article.
The only workaround I've found is to view a different article on Wikiwand, then tell Wikiwand I want to edit that one, then manually hack the URL in the browser to change the article title from the random one I was on to the one I want to create. Obviously that's a far worse experience than I had before I installed Wikiwand!

"do not show on websites" keeps getting logged in chrome console
For 3 years now, everytime a click event happens on a page, a console message saying "do not show on websites" is logged. As a web developer, this is a deal-breaker as it slows the job of debugging my web apps.

When pressing the backspace button or clicking the 'previous page; button, you should allow it to return straight back to the previous page instead of reloading the wikiwand page again.

Make dark/night mode change the color of the main menu as well as the side bar.
Currently when changing to night/dark mode, the main menu and side bar do not change colors which is inconsistent with the dark/night mode theme as everything else is black on white. (On minimum and dark settings)

Have user specific Home Page
You can have a home page where based on users interests, show some random articles to increase their knowledge base. Just like "stumbleupon" of wikipedia.

Hide left-side Table of Contents (+ keyboard shortcut)
Would be great to gain an even more minimalistic look.
