I have seen the different Chinese versions are back online for Wikiwand 2.0 (still buggy at this time though: some characters are not converted as on Wikipedia site, and the converted characters are not colored in links). I appreciate your efforts.

This is what I am doing since I began to use Wikiwand: I have set my favorite languages (mine zh-tw, en, fr, etc.), and thereafter if I search for something in Chinese, Wikiwand would only return links to zh-tw version of pages.

Maybe you can try to set your favorite Chinese variant in the language setting, and see if the search result improves.

But the extension does one thing good though: it can manipulate the link to Wikipedia in the background and redirect to Wikiwand instantly, instead of redirecting twice as the user script does.

Hi, I'm using Greasemonkey with this script (actually submitted by me):
    Wikipedia 2 Wikiwand (Global) <https://greasyfork.org/zh-TW/scripts/23047-wikipedia-2-wikiwand-global>

to replace the Firefox extension (I too found the extension a bit resource-consuming). And also the extension does not handle Chinese variants properly now.
