  1. Add a built in player for audio files (.mid, .ogg)

    It's really annoying having to download these files just to play them. Also .ogg is not supported without additional downloads of codecs etc, so it's difficult for the average user to even listen to these files.

    If you guys could fix that, it'd be a big reason for me to use your app over the original site. Thanks!

    Allow customisation of background, font, visited links, un-visited links colors under personalize menu of the wikiwand menu bar. At present there are visibility issues, especially every one has different visual spectrum acuity, not to mention the differentials in each monitor's color profile settings, effects of aging of the electronic components, degradation of the light emitting crystals, ambient room lighting, relative position of their monitors versus the window, etc... I believe that no matter how well you tweak your official wikiwand colors, no single set of color profile will ever satisfy all wikiwand users. Simplest solution i think is to allow…

    Let us have bookmarks that are not associated with Facebook. Why can't we just use our Wikipedia logins or create a login for Wikiwand?

  6. Facebook Authentication Failed

    Hey guys, I've saved a lot bookmarks via Facebook Login.
    Recently, I was logged out and cannot login again.
    Developer Tool tells that,
    https://www.wikiwand.com/api/user/facebook-authenticated 504 GATEWAY_TIMEOUT. Could you help? Thanks!

  7. Develop a Mac App Store version

    The Safari extension cannot be found any more in the extensions gallery, to which I am redirected when trying to download Wikiwand on Safari (macOS High Sierra, 10.13.4).
    It seems that new Safari extensions are available through the Mac App Store.
    It would be great to have Wikiwand among those apps!

  8. Very simple way to fix dark mode equation display problem. Literally 10 character fix included.

    If you are using the dark mode setting with wikiwand pages that contain complex mathematical portions become impossible to see because they are rendered in black against the black background. This is super annoying and after getting tired of having to work around this I realized a code addition of just 10 characters will fix this issue.

    The problem arises because wikipedia renders complex math written in latex as SVG objects on the page. Wikiwand does nothing to these images, leaving them impossible to see.

    The fix is to add filter:invert(90%) to the img style tag. That's all. It's that…

  12. Put a sign that an article is featured or rated "good" or "A" by Wikipedia

    Wikiwand's polishing belies the bad shape the content of many articles on Wikipedia have. One would like to know an article is going to be as great as it looks to enjoy it the most.

    I suggest you to add the code lang="bg" to the Bulgarian section in Wikipedia. The code will start localization for Bulgarians of the Cyrillic serif font Lora.

  15. Safari 12 has become more restrictive – Wikiwand does not work anymore

    As of Safari 12 extension have to be approved by Apple and need to be downloaded from the App Store. Please make Wikiwand available on the App Store.

  16. Restore functionality of the 'Back' button

    Currently pressing Back tries to navigate to the Wikipedia article, and hence redirects back to the Wikiwand article. This has the effect of disabling the back button unless you right-click it and select the page before the Wikipedia article. Please look into fixing this (if it can be done).

  17. provide YouTube on-topic videos .

    alongside entertainment, YouTube became also a rich source of education and science .
    with the huge and divers amount of tutorials and explanation videos , it will so useful and enriching to include YouTube specific video suggestions to articles , and i think adding the possibility to up vote or down vote or suggest videos would improve the relevance over time.
