We all know there is one sort of really great wikipage, the comparison series,
It is really great to have these great compilations of information, but, unfortunately,
most tables are just too long to browse. It would be really easy to get lost while scrolling
down the table.
I am wondering if Wikiwand is thinking about improving that?
Something like this: [Table with fixed header on scroll](http://codepen.io/jgx/pen/wiIGc)16 votes
Sounds trivially easy to implement.16 votes
I use Wikiwand with sans font type at the biggest size available and the dark theme. It gets back to the default settings(with theme with serif font at smaller size) every time I reopen my browser or when mi IP adresse changes.
Woud it be possible to store the settings on the client-side (in a persistent cookie or through the browser extension for instance) so that I don't have to change them manually so often ?15 votes
...and, depending on the # of TOC items in a Topic,
the scrolling of the TOC gets stuck-
ie: you can not scroll below the last, displayed TOC item,
although YOU KNOW there are more items below it!...
Also, there is a very thin vertical scrollbar (inside the TOC).
Can you make that TOC scroll bar thicker?
(so it's easier to grab and manipulate with Mouse?).
when we use the black theme, equations stays black and we don't see them. can you fix that please ?
great extention thought !15 votes
Buul nedir? Buul.com.tr Türkiye için rehber, satış, eleman bulma ve usta bulma sitesidir15 votes
As of right now, to share a link to a Wikipedia page, we must either give a Wikiwand link, give a Wikipedia link with ?oldformat=true meaning anyone who uses Wikiwand won't see it, or edit the link manually. While it is a small inconvenience, I would like a copiable link to the Wikipedia page that doesn't have ?oldformat=true.14 votes
Wikitube is another extension that pulls relevant YouTube videos to the top of wikipedia. Allowing this run alongside wikiwand would be magical!14 votes
Wikipedia shows the "last edit" time of the article and it's useful to track how recent some info is. I suggest you also include it in wikiwand.
Thank you14 votes
When you compare wikiwand with wikipedia, it's clear that the wikiwand page doesn't show any of the sub-categories or pages that the wikipedia category pages have. This really limits the navigation on wikiwand and doesn't provide the full knowledge that wikipedia has14 votes
Would like a keyboard shortcut to change languages, as I often toggle between languages for work.14 votes
Any chance to make the Font & Bkg COLORS of left-side Table of Contents, have a +readable contrast? It's white on gray!
Any chance to make the Font & Bkg COLORS
of the left-side Table of Contents ,
have a more readable contrast?
Font vs Background colors are
currently white on gray...
Makes it hard for the User
to browse / read the TOC,
for other items of interest...
in the same page.
Maybe allow the User to set the TOC colors?13 votes
It sucks that you have to click on the search symbol first, wait until the search bar pops up and then type your searchword. It was much easier before when the search bar was there all the time.13 votes
The article would be printed as presented by Wikiwand but without the menu, the header (top row) and the footer (containing "Enjoying Wikiwand?", etc.). It also shouldn't require generating a PDF file before printing.13 votes
it's annoying when you are on a page with a lot of hyperlinks, that wherever you move your mouse (or when scrolling, for example), a pop up appears whenever the mouse goes over a hyperlink. It would be better if you'd have to hover over the hyperlinks for about a second or two before the pop up appears.13 votes
Add an option to auto-expand photo descriptions, 'See Also' , 'References', 'Further Readings' & 'External Links' sections
I always want to see the photo descriptions & end of entry references. It would be great to have an option in settings to always auto-expand those sections & show photo descriptions so i don't have to click each one every time.13 votes
When clicking the 'edit' button, it would be useful to direct people to the 'Visual Editor' (http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Wikipedia:VisualEditor). I think this would be more intuitive to users.13 votes
I think Mac users are more used to cmd than ctrl so could you please enable that for Safari/Mac users? A toggle would be great if you can´t autodetec that.13 votes
