The new UI is a downgrade.
The floating pane at the top is distracting and unnecessary. It doesn't improve the UX in any way. The options panel also seems incomplete (not enough option settings) and the way it appears isn't the easiest to use.
The shoving of the AI feature center and top of the article is in very bad taste.
Shame, because I've been using this extension for close to 10 years and it was one of my favorite ones. It was non-intrusive, elegant and very very useful.

I agree and I wish they would still have the option to switch back.
I liked Wikiwand because it was modern but still elegant. Now, I really dislike the serif font of the name of the article. There should definitely be different font options, including the ones from the old version. -

Thanks for the detailed reply!
We're looking into the article you sent, and it looks fine on our end (see attached). Are you using Chrome or Firefox?Regarding the navbar, the option is to have the navbar disappear, and not be visible all the time, is this what you accepted?
BTW, you can always trigger the search, even in a non-sticky navbar state, by double clicking ctr or cmd
