Why Facebook for bookmarks?

Let us have bookmarks that are not associated with Facebook. Why can't we just use our Wikipedia logins or create a login for Wikiwand?

    Completely agree, just use Wikipedia login. Connecting FB doesn't seem to work too at the moment.

    It's time, not everyone uses facebook! in-fact people are beginning to see it's detrimental effects and are withdrawing. Facebook does not promote knowledge or leaning.

    I totally agree. Or at last the option of using other accounnt (like Google+ etc.). Does everyone on earth needs to become a Facebook disciple?!? I mean this is a great tool for Wikipedia! User groups are far from being identical.
