Add Bookmarking (Reading List / Read It Later)
I've always thought Wikipedia sorely lacks this feature of marking entries as favourite e.g. for later reading. This would be a great new functionality to add imo.
13 votesBookmarking is now available in Wikiwand!
1. To add the current page, click the “Bookmark” icon in the toolbar.
2. To add a snippet of text to bookmarks, select some text and click the “Bookmark” icon that pops up on the left.
3. You can now also hover over any link, and click “Add to bookmark” in the hovercard. -
Add link to disambiguation page
A link should be added to a disambiguation page where one exists.
For example, if I search for a 'Nickel' on Wikipedia I am directed to the page on the element - as I am on WikiWand - but there is also a link to the disambiguation page (useful if I had wanted to look up the coin). As far as I'm aware, this link does not exist in WikiWand.
13 votesThe disambiguation icon should work perfectly well now.
Just go to an article:
http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Nickel
and hover over the disambiguation icon, right next to the article title. -
Articles about colors should keep the color preview
Most (possibly all) of the articles about colors contain a table whose header has the same background color as the one the article is about. In the Wikiwand version, the background is replaced with white, and there is no way to see what color the article is talking about. Take a look here for an example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navy_blue?oldformat=true
http://www.wikiwand.com/en/Navy_blue13 votesThis issue was fixed, enjoy Wikiwand

Extension with a Wikipedia-to-Wikiwand switch button that enables one to read the Wikipedia article being browsed on Wikipedia on Wikiwand
My computer is a relatively slow one. While reading on Wikiwand is more pleasurable, it's often not an option for me since a Wikiwand pages take much longer to load. So I have to generally disable this Wikiwand extension anyway and read articles on Wikipedia's own website instead.
So I want an extension for the Chrome and other web browsers that has a 'Read this on Wikiwand' button, so that I can keep reading articles on Wikipedia by default and also switch to Wikiwand whenever I want.
12 votesOur Chrome extension now has this [W] botton in the bottom-right corner that enabled you to disable and enable Wikiwand. This button shows up on Wikiwand and on Wikipedia pages.

Disable Cover Image
The large cover image on some articles makes scrolling really laggy when compared to articles that don't have a cover image. I think this is due to the hardware-acceleration of scrolling in OS X, but it'd be great if we could disable cover images on all articles (this'd also help load times drastically).
I tried blocking it using a custom adblock filter but the cover_image div has the CSS to offset the content below it, so if you block the image it cuts off the title and first paragraph of the article.
Other than that WikiWand is fab!

Please click the cogwheel in the toolbar and choose the “Minimal” theme. -

Add full HTTPS support
Wikiwand already seems to have some HTTPS support, although certain scripts are served over HTTP and throw a mixed content warning. Wikipedia itself has full support for HTTPS.
In a post-Snowden world, a secure-by-default approach benefits all users. HTTPS prevents a user's employer, ISP or government from snooping on what Wikipedia articles they are reading. This is particularly pertinent for users in less democratic countries, where simply viewing a controversial article can get them into real trouble.

Stop popping up an ad encouraging me to install the Wikiwand extension when I already have it installed.
I have been experiencing this with with Firefox for several weeks now. All pop-ups annoy me, since I must take to the trouble to dispose of them; but this one is especially annoying because it is arising on Wikiwand pages which I am getting because the extension is already installed! I have version 3.1.1.

Hide or minimze the search bar - show it on hover
I think that the search bar is too big and takes too much place, also it really doesn't look nice IMO, maybe something more sober, and less invasive would be better. Thx,
10 votesWe removed the search bar from the toolbar, now there’s a small search button instead.
Also, we have improved the search accuracy and display, give it a try! -
Colour-coded graph legend
With coloured maps and graphs, Wikipedia has a legend that shows how each colour corresponds to a certain data point or value. Wikiwand is missing the colours associated with the values. For example, take a look at the map legend on the Microeconomics page.
9 votesFixed.
Legends should now display properly when clicking an image → clicking (i) in the gallery -
Fix improper formatting
I was on this article:
http://www.wikiwand.com/en/List_of_radioactive_isotopes_by_half-life
and I noticed every section was labeled "10 seconds". This seemed strange to me, so I viewed it on the normal Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_radioactive_isotopes_by_half-life?oldformat=true) and I noticed that all of the sections had superscripts. Please fix this issue.9 votes -
